Questions and answers to the most common questions I receive.
Will you make a reborn with a kit that is a copy? –
This one is a hard no. I always have and always will continue to support the art form of our sculptors by using only original kits, all my babies will come with a certificate of authenticity.
Do you make silicones? –
Currently I am only creating reborn dolls, made of vinyl. Some babies do have full torsos or full tummy plates.
Do you make custom dolls? –
Unfortunately I do not offer custom dolls, there are many reasons for this but I find I create my best work when I can paint at my own pace, it can be a lot of pressure for an artist to create custom work and also sometimes the vision of the artist can come out differently to what the collector expected.
Do you root hair? –
No I don’t root hair (sorry!) All of my dolls have highly detailed painted hair.
What do you use inside of your dolls? –
My dolls are filled with polyfil and glass granules.
What paint do you use? –
I use heat set paints which allows for transparency of layers, the paint is permanent and will not fade over time.
Do you seal your dolls? –
Yes, all my dolls are sealed with heat set matte varnish. This gives them slight texture, the paints I use are cured without a seal but the main reason is to prevent excess shine that can appear on vinyl over time with unsealed dolls, matte varnish preserves the matte appearance for much longer than otherwise, especially if dolls are excessively handled.
Do you ship worldwide? –
Of course! I am so proud that so many of my babies have found homes all over the world, all babies are sent via a priority service to ensure that they are safely in your arms as quickly as possible.
Do your dolls come with extras? –
Absolutely. It has always been important to me to offer the most magical experience I can right from the point of adoption, all dolls come with an extensive layette and will arrive to you beautifully presented.
Do your dolls take a dummy/pacifier?-
All dolls have a magnet installed to take a magnetic dummy, if you would like this to be removed this is not a problem.
